Today we're going to review part number KS68017N. This is the K-source electric replacement side mirror for the passenger side, and it's black in color. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit on the 1998 to 2004 Nissan Frontier and Nissan Xterra with electric mirrors. This is a side view mirror, and it's a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after your manufacturer's original look and fit.
It does have the power remote capability, meaning you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. One note that I do want to mention is that your vehicle will already have to have electric mirrors now and that function to be able to use this mirror. It is an OE grade, convex glass, with first surface plating to reflect the clear images. Basically, the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and it is a convex lens, which provides a wide-angle view to reduce blind spots. Most all your passenger side view mirrors will always be a convex lens. It is a breakaway design, which means the mirror will fold up against the car when it's struck, to prevent breakage. It's made of a durable plastic housing, with a nice black finish.
It is an easy, no-drill installation. As you can see right here, it uses the same mounting points and footprint as your factory mirror. This mirror right here will plus into your existing electrical wiring. Now a few specs on this. It is designed to replace the original equipment near, which is part number 963013S500. This part is for quantity 1 passenger side mirror.
